To keep your cup nice and clean for a long time:

Do not wear the menstrual cup for too long without rinsing it. 8 hours maximum

To prevent discolourations, always thoroughly rinse the Me Luna immediately after removal with cold water. You can clean it more thoroughly afterwards with a mild soap or detergent.

You can minimise existing discolourations using our Me Luna Intensive Cleaner.

Slight discolouration may occur in any menstrual cup from the haemoglobin in the blood. This does not affect the function.

Do not use any solvent-based cleaners, caustic substances or abrasives for cleaning.

A menstrual cup should not be exposed to strong sunlight. Please avoid excessive heating above 140°C.

Fats and oils settle on the surface and cannot be dissolved by water. If the grease remains on the cup due to insufficient cleaning, a sticky, unhygienic film can form.

It is best to only use water-based lubricants with your Me Luna Cup!

Please always store your menstrual cup with good ventilation and not in the absence of air.
